Most expensive motorcycle sets Guinness World Record
If you had a spare million dollars, what would your dream motorcycle look like?
Well Turkish motorcycle designer, Tarhan Telli has created a vision that has the honor of being the most expensive motorcycle in the world, according to the Guinness World Record.
What makes it so expensive? It’s made with a LOT of gold.
Taking over a year to build, this motorcycle weighs 700 lbs, has a 1801cc V-twin engine, 125 horsepower, with a six speed transmission. The frame is the heaviest part of the bike, which is made of gold, as well as the chassis and many of the decorative Greek themed embellishments, notably the sculpted head of Medusa on the gas tank, the snake on the rear fender.
So, what do you think about this motorcycle? Would you consider it a work of art worth every penny or should all the gold be melted down and used for something else?
I’m just going to leave this here:
