Holiday gift guide for bikers: 2011

Need some help shopping for the biker in your life? With only 12 days until Christmas we’re quickly running out of time, so here are some fun ideas.

Biker Coffee Company

A coffee company where the coffee is made by bikers for bikers. Coffee blends with names like “Full Throttle Dark” and “Hydraulic Hazelut” how could you go wrong? Prices range roughly $15-$17 or you can a sampler box for $36-$40 bikercoffeecompany.com

Various coffees offered by the Biker Coffee Company

Biker Billy Cooks with Fire cookbook -or- Biker Billy’s Roadhouse Cookbook: Adventures in Roadside Cuisine

Biker Billy is a vegetarian biker and host of a cable cooking show, not to mention author of three previous cookbooks. He’s been seen on some late night tv shows and makes appearances at various biker rallies (I met him a few years ago at the Myrtle Beach rally) all over the country. His books can be found at amazon.com

El Rey biker devil tea towel for the kitchen

An Etsy find, this is a one of a kind, hand-made tea towel. Towel is made of black 100 percent cotton fabric. The Mexican poster of with a sombrero-wearing skeleton on a motorcycle holding a bottle of tequila is sewn onto some flame fabric. “El Rey de la Carretera” roughly translates to “King of the Road”.

Witch City Wicks candles

Ok, so this is a bit of shameless self promotion: I make these candles. My “House of Wax” line has some really interesting scents, like “Bondage” (leather) and “Guns & Roses” (gunpowder and rose), not to mention some cool label design. $12, witchcitywicks.com

Jewelry is always a great option for gifts. For her: how about some rose stud earrings? Carved red bamboo coral roses hand assembled on hypo-allergenic sterling silver stud posts, $18 (also available in black). Hey Girl!
How could you not list One Light Coming: A Bikers Story Book 3 of the Series!?
    http://www.amazon.com/One-Light-Coming-Bikers-Story/dp/0977174751
It’s available on Amazon. com, Barnes&Noble.com and iTunes!

It’s a great read and would make a perfect gift!

(OK, so this is just about as shameless a promotion attempt as Witch City Wicks candles, but if we don’t toot our own horns, who will! )

Happy Holidays and Look Forwward to Spring and Riding!!!

TOOT AWAY!! This was a really quick post I did this morning. I didn’t even scratch the surface to all that I *could* have listed!! Thank you for linking to your book. Cheers.

Thanks for the list. I bookmarked the Biker Coffee Company website. Gonna have to try it. Kind of a refreshing change to the usual stereotypes about gourmet coffee drinkers. But really, the names are the best part. I think Sissy Bar French Vanilla is the funniest.
