The first additional content scene for the Sons of Anarchy app was released in the wee hours of the evening. The first scene is called “Pay Phone” and gives fans a glimpse of what happens to Jax during incarceration during those 14 months that we won’t see during the regular televised show.
If you already own the SOA iPhone/iPad app, all you have to do is update the app. If you don’t have it yet, it’s only .99 cents for the download and the app gives exclusive first look on the 3 additional scenes that were filmed. (I think Droid users have to wait a little longer until the app is finished development). If you don’t have access to the apps for your phone, these additional content scenes will be available on the FX website in a week or two.

Jax is waiting in to use the phone and is approached by a menacing dude (isn’t everyone is jail pretty much menacing?). Before he knows what’s happening he’s grabbed from behind and stabbed repeatedly by said menacing dude, who spats some words at Jax in Russian. Jax is left on the floor to bleed.

This scene is only 1:21 long, but it’s pretty powerful to watch and it’ll be interesting to watch the show move forward after gaining a little insight of some of the things these guys dealt with while in jail.
