Attention West Coasters: Christina Shook, author (and photographer) of the book Chicks on Bikes is planning a summer book tour and is looking for some venues!
On her blog Christina announced that she will be hitting the road, with her daughters no less- from June 26 – July 11th, making her way up the coast from San Francisco to Vancouver. The show will include a video projection show of some of the ladies featured in Chicks On Bikes, she’ll talk about her experience in tracking down and photographing those featured in the book and will include images left out of the book and on the editing table. Best of all it’s free and she will sign your copy of the book with her favorite silver Sharpie (I got mine!).

She is looking to book events all along the way and is taking bookings right now, particularly looking for venues in Seattle and Vancouver. If you think you have a venue that you’d like her to be at you are her ideal contact if you:
- a. love women and at least suspect that women are indeed smarter than men.
- b. Think motorcycles are the perfect vehicle
- c. are fascinated with the frozen moments and million words embodied in great photography.
- d. own a motorcycle related shop
- e. belong to a motorcycle club, great excuse to gather your buds.
