I got a link to this site through an email I received. It’s very rare that I’m taken by surprise when someone suggests a product to me, but I was pleasantly surprised discovering the Gear Ring by Kinekt Design.
Looking at the static photos, I thought it was a cute looking ring. The matte stainless steel ring with gears could be interpreted as reminiscently steam-punkish, with the possibility of wide appeal to the mainstream and biker culture as well.

My interest was piqued enough to compel me to watch the video. And, HOLY COW! The gears actually MOVE! This is the best thing ever. So adorable!
This unique, innovative ring features six micro-precision gears that turn in unison when the outer rims are spun. It is currently available to purchase for $165 and comes in five standard US ring sizes: 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 (sizes 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be available soon).
