Early Sons of Anarchy season 3 spoilers

OK, it’s been a few months since the end of season 2. We had the holidays to distract us from our separation anxiety. And a lot of us have season 1 on dvd, which gets us through the empty voids of bikes, sex & violence. But the majority of us like to look to the future and so we wait like hungry dogs for any scrap of meaty info about the upcoming season of Sons of Anarchy.

So what do we already know? We know that season three will be back in September and that Kurt Sutter is already back in the writing room. And that he has offered “Coco” a guest spot on the show, which would be surreal but awesome!

I’ve casually scraped my news reader and perused the usual spoilerish sites that would have some juicy morsels to share. I’m not claiming that I am the end all, be all source of SoA news, but here’s a lil sumpthin’ sumpthin’:

From EpisodeInfo:

In an interview conducted with NJ.com, [Kurt] Sutter said that in the 3rd season he wants “to take them into a world that is outside their own, where they don’t have any control, where they are subject to other people’s laws and beliefs and parameters, where they aren’t quite the big fish in the small pond.”

Sons of Anarchy Season 3 Character Spoilers (Buddy TV):

Chief Unser: According to TV Guide, Unser will step down from his post next season, consequently leaving Hale as Deputy Chief. Series creator Kurt Sutter hints that Hale will be put on a tight spot on Sons of Anarchy season 3 and is forced to make tough decisions just as Unser did in the past.

“Unser came to understand… that you have to create relationships with these gangs and turn the other way sometimes and set parameters,” Sutter explained. “You can’t go by the letter of the law or you’re f—-d. Hale [will] have to learn those lessons and how much he’s willing to bend.”

Jax: Losing baby Abel will definitely affect Jax and his relationship with Tara on Sons of Anarchy Season 3. Series creator Kurt Sutter says he wants to “explore what happens to a couple when they’re faced with a tragedy like that….To be honest with you, I don’t know where it’s going to go. Does Tara blame herself? Does Tara blame Jax? Does Jax blame Tara? But that will be a very real dynamic in their relationship.”

Sons of Anarchy episode 2.3 "Fix"

From E! Online:
Kurt Sutter just headed back into the writers’ room and would only tell us this of season three: “I have a baby to find, and that’s all I know.” As for Gemma’s future as an outlaw, Katey Sagal doesn’t seem too worried. “I don’t think it will alter the family bond, but there are so many things that have to be addressed,” she explains. “Gemma obviously doesn’t know what’s happened to her grandson, and she’ll probably go insane when she finds out. I wouldn’t put anything past her. I’m sure she’ll take care of business.”

  1. Sons of Anarchy is a great show. Thanks for the post

  2. I think that Jax should blame Tara for Abel being kidnapped. Honestly…if Abel was her child she would have fought until her death to keep him from being kidnapped.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop with the SOA news.

  3. Marcs says:

Love the show. It keeps you in suspense and keeps you thinking what’s going to happen next. Drives me nuts. I think they should extend the season. It’s too short

  4. JESSY KNOLL says:

  5. Lizzie says:

Steph: I agree. Tara was LAME in that whole scene!

Marcs: I read somewhere that Kurt Sutter can only handle 13 episodes per season because it’s a lot of work and very taxing.

Jessy: Season 3 will start back up in September this year. Sorry to say that you’re gonna have to wait with the rest of us! :)

  6. blair lowery says:

    love this show

  7. Joni Chavez says:

I really love this show.I have watched every episode and I absolutely loved the last season. It is the kind of season that keeps u on your toes.I know that season 3 is goin to be great cant wait to watch it. Man,Jax was great in the last season he was the kind of lovin father that will fight to the end for his flesh and blood. That is the way that all fathers should be!! But I really do love this show and my eyes will be plastered to the t.v. when the new season comes on. Thanks for makin such a wonderful show for the viewers. C yall in september till then keep up the good/hard work for makin the tv show excellent!!!!!

  8. Cobra says:

Kurt needs to send “Half Sack” off with some respect for giving up his life for Abel. Funeral with club honors and the placing in the casket of the cut he earned would be more than proper and fitting

  9. Lauren says:

NOOOO NOOO NOOOOO NOO ! I read somewhere else that Kurt made it where tarra diddnt get the baby cuz he wanted problems for jax and tara and no one should be blamed but the irish man that took him. i beleive in Kurt and just like season 1 and 2 i know that 3 will be over mind blowing. THIS IS THE BEST THING TO COME ON TV.

  10. Chiffon says:

I agree with others that posted about Tara being lame…I have two children and I was sitting up, bouncing on the end of my seat, wishing I could jump into the TV to save that precious baby! Tara should have run around Mr. Irish and half-sack during the whole stabbing and run with Abel. But I understand also, that Kurt needed Mr. Irish to take the baby to set up season 3. It was believable in the sense that in that situation the last thing you want to do is set off the intruder in a worse way…sooo intense! Can’t wait for Sept!!

  11. Harry says:

Gee…your all right…Tara should have tried to stop the Irish guy and gotten killed along side Sac so that no one in the club would have known who took Abel. But then that would probably have killed most of next season.

As far as Sac goes…I wish that they didn’t kill him off. I’d like to see him get the colors he earned from trying to stop Irish.

  12. Lizzie says:

Harry, I think everyone was sad to see that Half Sack met an unfortunate end. Seems lots of people wanted to see him finally get patched in…

I read in some interviews with Kurt Sutter that Johnny Lewis (who plays “Sack”) was unhappy and didn’t want to be on the show anymore. Bummer.

  13. Ashley and Troy Phillips says:

My husband and I absolutely love this show!! I think it is awesome and how season 2 ended, its making me wonder how it will go..

  14. crowenate says:

I love the show but hate how much season 2 left off but I do know the reason there was so much left out at the end was due to the contract being up and they didn’t know if fx was going to renew so sutter done the smart business thing and wrote the last show where if fx didn’t renew soa and viewers didn’t find out what happened someone from fx would have been murdered, lol anyway the only reason I’m looking forward to sept. Is soa even though cold weather will be back.

  15. brittany says:

i do not think that jax should blame tara…sometimes a mother herself is helpless….i dont think she didnt fight because he wasnt her own….she loves that baby just as much becuase she nursed that baby to health…..i do think that there relationship should get stronger…and they should find the baby and fight for him….
