Sons of Anarchy season 2 returns to FX September 8th at 10 pm

The countdown is ON for the season 2 premier episode “Albification.”

Catch up on the first season so you don’t get left in the dust when season 2 begins! Many critics still refer to SoA as “the Sopranos on 2 wheels”-which I think is a lazy way to describe the show. I very much believe it’s majorly influenced by Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” over anything else.

I really like her. I like that she’s flawed but she doesn’t think that she is. She’s survived a lot, and people like that tend to live in a lot of denial. She knows how to get through life in her way, and she doesn’t question it. It’s just, “This is how it is.” For instance, I don’t think Gemma’s ever been to therapy. She’s not that girl. What you see is what you get.

Something very dark happens. The club is going to go through some turmoil — when you live an outlaw lifestyle, that’s the risk you take. As my husband says, this season is all about loyalties. Henry Rollins and Adam Arkin are on the show this year, and they … well, I don’t want to say too much, but they’re not really good guys.

By now we all now that Adam Arkin and Henry Rollins are joining the cast to stir the pot in Charming. Arkin insists his character, Ethan Zobelle, is a White separatist, not a supremacist. Henry Rollins describes his character, AJ Weston as a “knucklehead”.

“Being an American who is very aware of race, I’ve been around those knuckleheads for many, many years,” Henry explained. “In the music world they come to your shows, it’s awful. I’ve heard the rationale, I can’t support it but it’s interesting to hear it and wonder how insane these people are.”
