Harley-Davidson contributes to HBO’s True Blood campaign

For the second season of the vampire TV series, True Blood, the network created fake ads for real brands.

HBO partnered with marketers for an ad campaign promoting the second season premier of its series “True Blood.” Agency Digital Kitchen created ads for fake products targeting vampires from real brands like Ecko Unlimited, Geico, Gillette, Harley-Davidson, MINI and Monster.com. The ads maintain the brands’ logos and creative style while featuring made-up vampire-themed copy and products.

"Out run the sun"

"Outrun the sun"

I am a big fan of the show and think the idea of the fake ads is kind of fun and playful. I can’t wait for the new season to start on Sunday, June 14th!

Ok, true blood is the farthest thing from a youth series. What the previous poster was talking about I have no clue lol. I think the idea of a vampire/gothic Harley Davidson would be awesome! I would probably even consider buying it if they had one next year when I go to purchase my first Harley.

I think the previous poster was implying that “youth” in the case of True Blood is 40 years old and under. Let’s face it, my grandma isn’t watching True Blood, lol! Because HD’s typical rider is 45 yrs. old and above, they’ve been working extra hard over the past few years to tap into a younger demographic. By HD hitching it’s wagon to True Blood, they’re not only hitting a younger audience but also another group with similar interests as you, who think that a “vampire/gothic Harley Davidson would be awesome.” And I would have to agree with you on that one!
