We were curious as to what the "40" stood for, so we googled it. Way to go guys! We commend your pflight, and our prayers are with you. God bless you! I only wish I would have just come downstairs and said "hi", but We had all been drinking! go with God....... Public outcry over the crescent shape forced the Memorial Project to redesign the memorial, but they didn't change anything. All they did was disguise it. Instead of calling it Crescent of Embrace, they call it a broken circle now, but the circle is broken in the exact same places as before. The unbroken part of the circle, what symbolically remains standing in the wake of 9/11, is still a giant Islamic-shaped crescent, still pointing to Mecca. A crescent that Muslims face into to face Mecca is called a mihrab, and is the central feature around which every mosque is built. The planned memorial is actually a terrorist memorial mosque. For two years, I have been working with Tom Burnett Sr. (father of Flight 93 hero Tom Jr.) to get this abomination stopped. Last summer he traveled to Shanksville to address the Project and on television asked all Americans to please help him stop this "terrible insult" to his son and the other heroes.
