I can relate to your excitement over your new machine. I got one last week too. It is a Palm Treo 800w. I have never been real good with phones, but this is a pocket PC running Windows Mobile 6.1 with Office and everything, so I can relate. Now if, I can just figure out how to post to my blog on it….

I ordered a dell Studio 17 a few days ago. It is supposed to be delivered sometime around the day I get home from Afghanistan. I am really looking forward to it. The motherboard went out on the compaq I was using a few weeks ago.
I have thought about a Mac but because of the price/power ratio I have never saw the Mac as a economical substitute for a comparable PC laptop.

No, I actually have a Mac mini and I use a Mac at work, but this is my first laptop and I figured if I was going to break down and spend the money on an MBP then I might as well go for it and get the 17″. I very rarely spend lavishly on myself and this one particular purchase makes me giddy (if you couldn’t tell)!
