I managed to get a ride or two in the past few weeks before the weather turns really cold (hey, I mentioned before that I’m a total wuss when it comes to riding in cold weather! If it’s under 70 degrees I start to whine and complain!). We stayed pretty local, but the great thing about where we live is that we don’t have to venture far for some really beautiful scenery.
This will be mainly a photographic post. I gathered some of the images that I think represent what autumn feels like in New England.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately the riding is all but done for this year. Between the cold weather coming in and family obligations coming up riding for me is pretty much kaput.

Nice photo’s! As your riding season comes to an end ours really is just beginning (AZ) temps are just dropping enough to put on a long sleeve shirt

Ah Whiteline, color me jealous! While I’ve lived in New England most of my life I do dread the cold weather and snow that soon follows. Every winter I ask myself why I don’t move somewhere else in the country, but quite honestly there’s nothing like NE. So, I bite my tongue, bundle up and count the days for spring to show up!
I will have to start following your blog and live vicariously!

Lizzie, it’s the perfect time of year - but while I’m enjoying the weather now… I’ll be complaining like crazy in the summer when it’s 110!
