Thanks for reminding us all to give that little extra hug now and then. I know I was really sick for a long time (life threatening) and it makes you think. My old man was great. He took such good care of me during my illness. He even wheeled my bike into the bedroom and parked it near my bed while I recovered. Love stories with happy endings. Thanks for sharing.

All the best to you and F.F.! I remember the day that I logged into HSN and saw the post about his accident. Even though I do not know him personally it still struck me deeply and reminded me that it can happen to all of us. Perhaps his story has sharpened my senses and kept me safe for the last 5 years. We’ll never know but I would like to think so.

Congratulations on your “Anniversary”. After what both of you have been through, you really understand what it means to appreciate each other and enjoy each day to the fullest. I am certainly glad that you still have each other to live your lives with. Your story is a humbling reminder that we should not take for granted what we have in life.
