So out of curiosity, how come you haven't gotten your own bike yet? I knew after I got my license that if I didn't get a bike soon after I might never have the guts to do it, so I promptly went and got one. Every now and then I ride on the back with my husband because I miss being that close to him (I know, it's a little sappy)! Oh, and hey-I'm actually on Bikerworlds! Laconia is nice and close and doesn't require me riding thousands of miles to get there-and that's OK by me! I went to Myrtle Beach a few years ago and while I enjoyed the props I got for riding the 900+ miles I didn't actually love the ride itself!
