I returned from Laconia yesterday safe & sound. We had a great time, although it seemed like the crowds and traffic were light this year. The weather was great Friday and Saturday (ok, it was a tad bit on the warm side).
I have a lot of photos to download from my camera and I’ll try to get those online sometime this evening.
Until then, here’s a little tease. This was taken last Thursday on my way up Mt. Washington!

I always preferred Laconia bike week over sturgis, I have the option of riding either bike to Laconia, while sturgis I can only bring my harley and it is not as fun to ride for a whole week.

I haven’t gone to Sturgis yet, but my husband has and is dying to get me out there. Laconia is nice and close and doesn’t require me riding thousands of miles to get there-and that’s OK by me!
I went to Myrtle Beach a few years ago and while I enjoyed the props I got for riding the 900+ miles I didn’t actually love the ride itself!

Love your site,specially the pics from Laconia.We went up in 2004.loved it.I am originally from NH but have been in TN for 14 years now.Got my license in 05,but as of yet no bike yet.So still a passenger behind the ol man.Got the site from Bikerworlds blog.I think you will like that site.

Hey Terrie, thanks for checking my site out. So out of curiosity, how come you haven’t gotten your own bike yet? I knew after I got my license that if I didn’t get a bike soon after I might never have the guts to do it, so I promptly went and got one. Every now and then I ride on the back with my husband because I miss being that close to him (I know, it’s a little sappy)!
